Biography

1978-1991 Teaching assistant and then lecturer in Zhejiang University (former Zhejiang Agricultural University) ;

1991-1992 Visiting scientist in The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK;

1992-1998 Visiting scientist, PhD student, research fellow in The Queen’s University of Belfast (QUB), UK and received PhD degree in QUB;

1998 -present Professor & Researcher and PhD supervisor in the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISS, CAS); Director of CAS Key Laboratory of Soil Environment and Pollution Remediation (2006-2008, 2020.2-present); Director of Soil and Environment Bioremediation Research Center (SEBC) of ISSCAS(2002-2012); Served as the positions and membership of professional societies: Member of ISSCAS Party Committee, Academic Committee and Academic Degrees Committee; Deputy Head of the Joint Open Laboratory of Soil and Environment between ISSCAS and Hongkong Baptist University (HKBU); Award of the ‘National Outstanding Young Scientists Foundation’ by Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
