On May 10th, 2021, at the invitation of Professor Fang Wang from the CAS Key Laboratory of Soil Environment and Pollution Remediation and Youth Innovation Promotion Association, Associate Professor Huiqian Luo from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Science, came for the academic communication and on behalf of the editorial department of The Innovation, Associate Professor Huiqian Luo presented the journal to the library of Nanjing Institute of Soil Science. The conference was chaired by Professor Fang Wang and more than 40 teachers and students form the Institute of Soil Science and Nanjing Normal University attended.
On behalf of the editorial department of The Innovation, Associate Professor Huiqian Luo donated the first, second and third issues of first volume of the journal to the library of Nanjing Institute of Soil Science. Then, Associate Professor Huiqian Luo introduced The Innovation and talked about the questions about contribution and recruitment with the participating teachers and students.
At the symposium, Associate Professor Huiqian Luo delivered a report entitled “Neutron Scattering and the Multidisciplinary Applications”. He systematically introduced the basic principle of neutron scatter, neutron source, various kinds of neutron spectrometer, and their important applications in the fields of material science, life science, energy-environment and so on. After the report, Huiqian Luo had an in-depth discussion and exchange of views with the youth research backbone and graduate students, and visited the soil Herbarium.
This academic communication has enhanced the understanding and friendship between two sides and laid a good foundation for further strengthening scientific research cooperation.
