Resume:
Ling Zhao was born in September 1977 in Jinhu city of Jiangsu Province. She graduated in 2000 from Jiangsu Normal University and achieved a bachelor degree of Chemical Education. She got her doctor's degree of Environmental Science in 2006 from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From July 2006 to now, she works at Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Meanwhile, she worked as a visiting scholar from March 2015 to March 2016 in the department of Environmental Science in Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey. She currently is an associate professor and master supervisor of Key Laboratory of Soil Environment and Pollution Remediation, Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has supervised 9 graduate students。
Research Field:
She mainly engages in environmental chemistry research, including two research fields:i) The transportation and transformation behaviors and remediation of organic pollutants(Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and antibiotics, etc.)in soil environment;ii) The development of environmental remediation materials and control technology for heavy metals(such as Hg、Cd)in polluted soil.
